BRASSICA® GREEN and BLACK TEA

All tea starts as green tea. Sencha green tea is steamed to stop the fermentation process compared to oolong tea (semi-fermented) and black tea (fully-fermented), which are pan fired to stop the fermentation process. Both green and black teas contain antioxidants and polyphenols that help neutralize harmful free radicals thought to contribute to the development of certain health conditions as well as the aging process. Brassica® Tea is currently available in 7 varieties. Each bag contains 15mg of our TrueBroc® branded glucoraphanin from broccoli.

BRASSICA® LIGHT and DARK ROAST COFFEE

Brassica® Coffee is available in all-natural light and dark roast coffees. Brassica® Coffee light roast features a blend of Guatemala Antigua, Colombian Supremo and Bourbon Brazil Santos coffees. The dark roast variety delivers a blend of French roasted Central American, South American and African Arabica coffees. Just as fruits and vegetables are overflowing with antioxidants, coffee beans contain antioxidants too, supporting overall health.  Both flavors are packaged in recyclable cups. Each cup contains 15mg of our TrueBroc® branded glucoraphanin from broccoli.

TrueBroc® is a nutritional ingredient containing glucoraphanin, a phytonutrient naturally found in broccoli. Glucoraphanin is converted in the body to sulforaphane, which in 1992, was identified by researchers at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as the most potent natural inducer of Phase 2 detoxification enzymes. These enzymes eliminate many types of free radicals and environmental pollutants and, trigger ongoing antioxidant action that lasts significantly longer than other antioxidants such as vitamin C and E.
